WebOct 26, 2024 · There are, as far as I know, 3 compression algorithms which are accessible : lzma ( cdlz ), zlib ( cdzl ), and flac ( cdfl ). flac is specific to sound data, while lzma and cdzl are lossless. lzma compresses better, but is also slower to decompress. CHD utilities like chdman seem to highly value space, and therefore tend to lean towards lzma.
