This filter is SMALL, probably half the size of normal cartridge engine filters. No wonder its a "lifetime" filter, this thing looks great for 242,000! Marco620 has been using Castrol CVT fluid for a while. WebApr 3, 2024 · Since I was draining the CVT fluid and replacing the filter, I thought I’d do a video for you all. Sorry about the dipstick being out of focus when I was checking the fluid level but you guys got it from there. Hope this helps some of you out. The part number for the filter is 31726-1XE0A.

WebMay 12, 2024 · It doesn't sound like you saw the CVT fluid yourself. He likely didn't mention the 2 CVT fluid filters either. IMO, changing the CVT fluid on an HRV is money well spent. If you are towing with your HRV, I would be concerned about CVT temps. A Scangauge to monitor CVT trans temps (and other parameters) would be worthwhile also.
