Bay 12 will continue to support the free original alongside this paid version of the Dwarf Fortress, too. WebJun 29, 2024 · Confirmed. I got tired of waiting for the Steam release so went looking to once again fire up a fortress the traditional way... can't download. Now I have DF withdrawals and may go dwarf-insane. EDIT: apparently Bay12 is looking for a new file host and the downloads have been unavailable for a long time now...
